Scottish Book Trust is working with two library services in Scotland to pilot the use of digital storytelling as a methodology to encourage people in areas of multiple deprivation to improve their digital participation. The project focuses on personal creativity as a motivation for participation and seeks to gather personal digital stories from people whose voices and experience are not often represented in the cultural life of their wider communities. Stories from the project will be shared as part of the library services local history archives.
