The Swiss National Reading Aloud Day takes place every year on the fourth Wednesday in May and promotes reading aloud at home, in schools and through a variety of public events in libraries, book stores and museums. It encourages anyone who is interested to show their support by signing up and reading to children or organizing an event on this day.
The first National Reading Aloud Day in Switzerland will take place on 23 May 2018 and is being organized in cooperation with Famigros, 20 Minuten and numerous other partners.
